Diseased arteries can usually be found during an examination by a vascular specialist. If a vascular condition is detected, you will  feel confident knowing our team can perform advanced procedures—including minimally invasive surgery. These may include:

  • Abdominal aortic aneurysm stenting or traditional open repair.
  • Carotid stenting or endartectomy.
  • Peripheral arterial intervention, including angioplasty, stenting and laser artherectomy.
  • Traditional bypass surgery for diabectic vascular disease and limb salvage.
  • Treatment of chronic non-healing wounds due to poor circulation.

Comprehensive management is also available for many disorders of the venous system, including treatment for varicose veins, phlebitis and arteriovenous malformations. We offer in-office procedures for varicose veins, including albation procedures and sclerotherapy.

University Surgical Associates also offers a non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory to assist in the diagnosis of vascular diseases. The laboratory is fully accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) All studies are interpreted by a board certified vascular surgeon.
